A Mother’s Rhyme

A cry a whimper
You have nothing to fear
Squirming agitated
Mummas here
Hush now little one
Don’t you fret
Hush now darling
Never forget
All your life
You’ll have me
To make you feel as
Happy as you can be
I’ll care for you
And teach you all
You need to know
To get up from a fall
In your veins
Mothers blood pumps
From my heart
Pure love runs
You’ll always have
A piece of me
To help your wounded
Spirit free
To move on
From hard times
This I swear
In a Mother’s Rhyme.
